Engineering the continuity problem
Clear separation between concept, prototype, investigation, submission, and future work.
Engineering question
How can bounded critical information remain available, integrity-verifiable, and recoverable when pathways or host conditions degrade?
Current development focus: Preservation · Integrity · Recovery · Emergency Retrieval · Hand-Off Continuity · Trust Layer

Prototype 1
Engineering validation objectives
Central question under investigation: Can a bounded critical-information state remain valid, recoverable, and integrity-verifiable through defined host degradation or interruption conditions?
Host-failure question. Can the commercial host continue under operationally relevant stress? If not, what happens to the bounded CIPHER record?
These are validation objectives — not claimed experimental results.
Program status
Current pursuits
Status only — not awards, contracts, or endorsements unless separately verified.
USSOCOM evaluation does not constitute an award, contract, funding commitment, endorsement, or selection for a follow-on requirement.
Evidence before scale
SLS evaluates continuity, trust, retrieval, and hand-off. Engineering evidence, workflow research, and commercial discovery inform future pathways.
Intellectual property
SLS is developing and protecting IP associated with continuity/retrieval behavior, bounded emergency-information architecture, and trust-state concepts. No issued patent is claimed on this site.
